Ani has over 15 years of experience working with children and individuals with disabilities.
Ani’s initial experience began while volunteering for the UCLA Early Childhood Partial
Hospitalization Program (ECPHP) as an undergraduate. After working a few days at ECPHP, Ani
knew she wanted to pursue a career working with children with autism and helping them find
their voice.
Ani started Behavior Trend in 2012 as a free resource blog for families and practitioners
and expanded Behavior Trend to offer Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA), Special Education
(SPED), and other Evidence-Based Practices (EBP) for children and families. Her specialties are
in early childhood education, alternative and augmentative devices (AAC), Enhanced Milieu
Teaching (EMT), Natural Environment Teaching (NET), advanced curriculum programming, and
parent training. Ani enjoys guiding the new generation of behavior analysts and preschool
teachers and being a forever learner. On her free time, she enjoys traveling and discovering
new places with her husband and hosting gatherings.
